FARMVILLE, Va. -- The Longwood men's and women's soccer games, originally scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 8, have been postponed due to inclement weather.

The Longwood women (4-8-0, 1-2-0 Big South) were set to kick off the Saturday doubleheader at 2 p.m. against Presbyterian at the Longwood Athletics Complex but had their game postponed due to inclement weather generated by Hurricane Matthew. The Longwood men (4-6-1, 1-2-0 Big South) were slated to follow with a 6 p.m. showdown against Big South foe Gardner-Webb but also had that matchup postponed.

The teams will announce scheduled makeup dates at a later time.
