FARMVILLE, Va. - The Longwood University women's basketball team will host fellow Independent Savannah State University on Sunday, February 27, at 2 p.m. in Willett Hall in Farmville for Senior Day. Senior
Krystal Garrison will be recognized before the game. The Lancers (6-10) are coached by interim head coach
Bill Reinson and led by junior
Brittanni Billups (10.3p, 6.5r) and sophomore
Chelsea Coward (8.9p). The Tigers (14-10) are coached by Cedric Baker and led by Ezinne Kalu (15.5p, 3.3r, 2.8a) and Darice Fountaine (14p, 6.5r). SSU defeated Longwood 60-34 on February 13 in Savannah, Georgia.

Krystal Garrison is the lone senior on this year's squad. She has averaged 7.5 points and 2.1 rebounds over 99 games in her four-year career. Garrison has scored 746 points, grabbed 211 rebounds, recorded 104 steals and dished out 109 assists. She scored a career-high 25 points at UNC Asheville (1.24) and grabbed a career-high 10 rebounds vs. Campbell (12.15.09). She will be appearing in her 100th game on Senior Day.
