FARMVILLE, Va. – Longwood University is hosting the College of William and Mary of the Colonial Athletic Association for a women's and men's college basketball doubleheader on Wednesday, December 29, at Willett Hall in Farmville. The first contest is a women's game and will feature the Lancers (2-9) and Tribe (1-8) starting at 4:30 p.m. LU is coached by Bill Reinson, and led by junior Brittanni Billups|Goldsboro, N.C. (Eastern Wayne) (12.5 points, 7.5 rebounds). The second game is a men's contest and will feature Longwood (4-11) and William and Mary (4-7) starting at 7 p.m. The Lancers are coached by Mike Gillian, and led by junior Antwan Carter|St. Petersburg, Fla. (St. Petersburg) (17.1 points, 9.3 rebounds). All youth 18 & under will be admitted free compliments of State Farm Agent Edgar Jones on Youth Day at Willett Hall.
