Sarah Moomau/Winchester at No. 4, senior
Hannah Hill/Portsmouth at No. 5 and junior
Nicole Parker/Richmond at No. 6 against the Avengers. Longwood will host Big South Conference opponent Presbyterian College on Saturday, April 13, at 1 p.m. at the Lancer Courts in Farmville. It's the final regular-season match before the upcoming Big South Women's Tennis Championship on April 17-20 in Rock Hill, South Carolina.
Against ASA JC in the match-opening doubles competition, sophomore
Malin Allgurin/Värnamo, Sweden and Moomau won at No. 2, 8-3. Pinyol and Shulman fell at No. 1, 5-8. Hill and Parker fell at No. 3, 4-8. Winning in singles were Pinyol at No. 1, 6-2, 6-2; Shulman at No. 3, 6-2, 4-6, 6-2; Moomau at No. 4, 6-0, 6-0; Hill at No. 5, 6-0, 6-1; and Parker at No. 6, 3-6, 6-1, 6-1. Allgurin fell at No. 2, 2-6, 6-4, 3-6.
