Lancer Strength and Conditioning MISSION STATEMENT:
In accordance with the LU Athletics Department mission of P.R.I.D.E., The Strength & Conditioning Departments mission is to serve our athletes by training them in a way that will not only help them to reach their physical potential but also their mental potential and overall character.  In doing so, our focus will be on providing them with cutting edge training that enhances their overall athleticism on the playing surface as well as their ability to withstand injury.  Our program is based on sound fundamental principles of strength and conditioning utilizing many methodologies and training stimuli in order to acquire the desired training effect in the following areas: maximal strength, power, speed, agility, flexibility, mobility and metabolic conditioning in accordance with sports specific demands.
