Hylton) has been named as one of nine finalists nationwide for the prestigious V Foundation Comeback Award for 2010. Smith is a finalist for the second-straight year as he was one of 12 finalists for 2009. The V Foundation for Cancer Research announced the finalists today for the 10th annual award to be presented in conjunction with ESPN as the recipient will be announced March 30 during ESPN&rsquo;s basketball coverage. Junior Briana  Wells/Romoland, Calif. (Paloma Valley) earned the win in both  games and gave up three runs, only one earned, and scattered eight hits  over 14 innings. Senior Amy Betterton/Rocky  Mount (Franklin County) laced an RBI single up the middle in  the sixth inning of the second game, driving home the game&rsquo;s only run. The Lancers were led by freshman Crystal  Smith/Richmond (Meadowbrook) who scored a career-high and  game-high 28 points (9-18 FG). Fellow freshman Chelsea   Coward/Mechanicsville (Hanover) posted her second-straight  double-double with 13 points and a career-high and game-high 12  rebounds. Adrianne McNally paced the Eagles with 23 points.
