Coach Bolding: “Brant came into his own last season, so those who come to watch the offensive fireworks for which Longwood is widely know, should see a waking baseball giant work his magic on the diamond.  Few players in Lancer baseball lore bring as many tools to the field, tangible and intangible, as does Brant. He can do it all, and 2010 should be a great one for him.  He will likely play shortstop and second base and will ply his trade in the vital two hole.  I continue to regard Brant as a candidate for one of the all-time greatest clutch players in Longwood hardball history.”
