FARMVILLE, Va. -- The scheduled Longwood University baseball game for today, Wednesday (March 18), at the University of Richmond at 3 p.m. has been canceled.  The Lancers (12-6), who have won eight-straight games, will next play on Thursday, March 19, hosting Canisius College of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference at Lancer Stadium in Farmville beginning at 4 p.m..  Longwood is also scheduled to host Lafayette College of the Patriot League for a three-game weekend series at Lancer Stadium this Friday and Saturday, March 20-21, beginning with a 3 p.m. game on Friday.
